LANSING - Celebration Cinema will bring its "Pop Up Drive-in" concept to Lansing this weekend with the 2018 movie "Black Panther."

Lansing's Celebration Cinema will host a pop-up drive-in beginning Saturday.

The company will erect a drive-in screen in the parking lot of Celebration Cinema at 200 E. Edgewood Blvd to show the film Saturday night at 9:30 p.m.

A second pop-up drive-in will launch Friday in Grand Rapids.

Additional movies are set to be screened in the coming weeks, the company said, with tickets costing $30 per car.

“Drive-in movies have been enormously popular this summer, with near sell-outs every weekend,” Celebration spokesperson Emily Loeks said in a news release. “Our community is hungry for opportunities to gather in a safe way. Outdoor movies are a memorable experience.”
