Lansing police released additional details regarding a pair of incidents that occurred Sunday.

The first incident was reported just before 3:40 a.m. in the 3700 block of Starlight Lane.

Officials said a 21-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were struck by a vehicle and subsequently transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The vehicle was found to have freshly-made bullet damage, LPD Pubic Information Director Robert Merritt, said in an email.

Investigators have information indicating shots were fired after the pedestrians were struck, Merritt said, but people at the scene did not mention or want to talk about the shooting.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 22-year-old woman, was arrested.

The second incident was reported just after 12:20 p.m. in the 4600 block of Pleasant Grove Road.

A 34-year-old woman was shot in the leg and a 56-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident.

The 34-year-old was not cooperative, Merritt said.

Merritt described the incident as a "domestic" situation and said the involved women are related.
