LANSING - Police were searching for suspects in a shooting incident that closed part of a major south Lansing intersection late Monday afternoon.

Police arrested a St. John's man Sunday night after he fired at officers.

The incident happened about 4:35 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Jolly Road. Shots were fired from one vehicle toward another vehicle.

Lansing police said a vehicle was struck by gunfire, but no one was injured.

The suspects' vehicle left the area and hadn't been found on Monday night, Sgt. Marcus Johnson said. Two men who had been riding in the other vehicle ran from the scene but were later found to be uninjured, he said.
