A 24-year-old Lansing man was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan on Aug. 21 at the Cedar Street and Greenlawn Avenue intersection.

LANSING - Police have identified a man who died in car-motorcycle crash Wednesday in south Lansing as Andrew Lee Krouse, 24, of Lansing.

The crash happened about 11:40 a.m. at Cedar Street and Greenlawn Avenue.

Lansing police said Krouse was southbound on a motorcycle when he collided with a sedan turning left onto Greenlawn.

Five people who were riding in the sedan were taken to a hospital for evaluation, but none had life-threatening injuries, Lansing police Public Information Director Robert Merritt said.

The Ingham Regional Crash Investigation Team is still looking into the crash and has not determined who was at fault, Merritt said. Drugs or alcohol don't appear to be a factor in the crash, he said.

The motorcycle was severely damaged, and the windshield and front windows of the sedan were broken.

Witnesses who may have left the scene are asked to call the Lansing Police Department at 483-4600.
