Lansing man, 84, killed in Delta Township crash Saturday night
Ken PalmerDELTA TWP. - An elderly Lansing man was killed and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Delta Township.
The crash happened about 10 p.m. on Broadbent Road, south of Willow Highway, the Eaton County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
One of the drivers, an 84-year-old man, was dead at the scene. The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were taken to Sparrow Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The man who died in the crash was headed west on a side street when his sedan was hit by a pickup truck heading north on Broadbent, sheriff's officials said.
Police said they had not determined whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
