More than 100 volunteers will spruce up Stoever’s Dam Park as part of the 18th annual Comcast Cares Day on May 4.

Comcast NBCUniversal employees from the Harrisburg area along with their families, friends and community partners are set to take part in the project, which will include cleaning, landscaping, laying stone and painting, according to a news release.

Volunteers are scheduled to work at Stoever’s Dam Park, 946 Miller Street, Lebanon from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Covering more than 150 acres just outside the city of Lebanon, the park includes a 23-acre lake and a 1.5-mile walking trail. The park also offers softball fields, community garden plots, camping areas and wetland areas for nature observation.

Comcast employees are also participating in blood drives, creating craft bags for Harrisburg-based Caitlin’s Smiles and making paracord survival bracelets for Operation Gratitude in Lebanon during the month of April.
