A MINUTE'S silence was organised in memory of a man who died at a Flintshire waste facility.
The Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust received a call at about 3pm on Tuesday (March 19) to an incident at the Parc Adfer site on Weighbridge Road, Deeside.
A spokesman for the service said: "We responded with two rapid response vehicles, one urgent care services vehicle, one medic vehicle and an air ambulance."
It was later confirmed that the callout had been in relation to the death of a worker at the site.
A spokesman for CNIM, Engineering and Procurement Contactor at Wheelabrator Parc Adfer Energy Recovery Facility, said: "We are deeply saddened by the death of one of our colleagues at the Parc Adfer site.
"We would like to send our sincere condolences to his family, who are very much in our thoughts at this time.
"We will be holding a minute’s silence on site to mark his life and remember him.”
