FASHION conscious racegoers are set to flock to Bangor on Dee this week when racing makes a welcome return after a two-month break.

In addition to seven thrilling jump races on Friday, the annual Best Dressed Ladies Competition will take place during the afternoon and is open to ladies with a Paddock entry ticket.

Fans of Bangor have already demonstrated their commitment to attending and hospitality places across the course are completely sold out.

A variety of partners have joined forces with the racecourse to support both the races and the competition to find the most stylish racegoer.

Ladies looking to enter the competition should visit the photobooth on the lawn in front of the Weighing Room to have their photo taken before the competition closes at 3pm.

Every entrant will go home with a printed memento and finalists will be contacted later in the afternoon. The competition will be judged by representatives from Old Port Spa, including last year’s judge and founder, Fiona Harrington-Wright.
