As the summer is well and truly here (minus the weather) there’s lots of festivals near and far for you to enjoy over the coming weeks.
Our city will, of course, have great events happening like Leeds Festival, Ed Sheeran’s massive Roundhay Park gigs, Let’s Rock, Leeds West Indian Carnival and more.
As well as all of this amazing fun we know many of you will be looking at events nearby which you can travel to for music or a few pints and...the glorious British summer weather.
We guarantee the weather but we’ve picked out our top tips for festivals and big music events you can travel to within an hour (or so) of Leeds.
No matter what your music taste, we’ve tried to pick some varied events with details of who is playing and how to get tickets.
