As the government continues to assess coronavirus lockdown measures here’s a look at the shops you could soon be able to visit again in Leeds under new proposals.

Ministers have stressed this easing and proposed dates will only go ahead if the Covid-19 infection rate continues to decrease as predicted by scientific experts.

We have a list below of the types of shops you should be able to visit in June - should these plans go ahead.

In Leeds, providing retailers decide to reopen you would be able to visit Trinity Leeds fashion favourites such as Primark, Topshop and Next could reopen alongside stores like toy shop The Entertainer and electronic giant Apple.

While, across Leeds these potential easing of measures would be good economic news for other shopping centres in the city like White Rose, St Johns, The Core and more.

In Leeds city centre, it looks likely traders Leeds Kirkgate Market will be able to return next month.
