Leeds United legend Chris Kamara is teaming up with Royle Family stars in a new series celebrating all that’s great about the north.

Kammy, 62, will be joining Ricky Tomlinson and Ralf Little in their humorous travel documentary Ricky and Ralf’s Very Northern Adventure.

In the UKTV Gold series, the pair travel across Yorkshire and beyond to find out about northern history and tourism spots. Across the journey, they encounter lots of famous faces and in the latest episode, Kammy meets up with the Royle Family stars.

Kamara, who hails from Middlesbrough, played for a host of northern clubs including hometown side, Leeds United, Bradford City and Sheffield United during his career.

He will be appearing in Ricky and Ralf’s Very Northern Adventure at 8pm on Monday, June 1. The star, who has become a TV star after his playing career, gives the duo a footballing education during his guest stint.
