Leeds United have been linked with a lengthy list of names during the summer transfer window so far, but the latest is a little more out of the blue.

Weltfussball state the Whites have been keeping tabs on Sasa Kalajdzic after his solid return of eight goals in 15 Austrian Bundesliga games during the 2018/19 campaign.

The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to the UK before, with the MailOnline even reporting back in March the 21-year-old was courting interest from Premier League and Championship clubs.

Kalajdzic is well aware of the speculation on his future and has now spoken out about his plans for next season.

"According to the media, it can be expected that I will go abroad," the striker reportedly said with a grin. "I do not exclude anything. Everything has to fit, we'll see if that will happen."

Kalajdzic, for now, remains under contract for one more season with FC Admira Wacker Mödling in Austria.

"To be honest, I find it somewhat amusing when you read such a thing in the media everywhere, it's just a bit uncomfortable when all the people ask you about it."

Kalajdzic will feature for the Austrian under-21s at the European Championship tournament in Italy and San Marino, which begins on June 16.
