A care provider plans to create 60 new jobs in Leicestershire.

The team at Home Instead Senior Care in Charnwood, Loughborough and Coalville said they plan to recruit dozens more caregivers by the end of the year, to meet growing demand for their services.

The business - rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission last May - has just celebrated its second year in business.

It provides care services for older people in their own homes, with visits of at least one hour.

Home Instead owner Charlotte Johnson said regular meetings with clients and their families allows them to provide a more personalised care that can adapt to the changing needs of the client.

She said: “It has been a very exciting two years for us, and thanks to our fantastic team and Home Instead’s innovative approach to delivering at-home care services; demand for our services continues to be very high.

“In the past two years, we have been rated outstanding by the CQC and have won several care awards, the most recent being Leicester’s Employer of the Year Award.

“We celebrated our second birthday at The Brewery Coffee shop in Sileby.

“We enjoyed a prosecco afternoon tea, played a quiz and gave out prizes for milestones and special achievements.”
