These are the 9 most and least expensive homes sold in Leicestershire in January 2019

According to the Land Registry, 23,132 residential sales were registered across England and Wales in January 2019.

The most expensive was of a terraced property in Kensington and Chelsea, which sold for a whopping £12,650,000.

While the cheapest sale in the month was of a terraced property in Spennymoor, County Durham for just £17,000.

But how do the prices in Leicestershire fare in comparison?

Here are the nine most and least expensive properties sold in the county during January 2019.

6. Flat in Waterville Close, Leicester sold for £84,950
7. Terrace house in Salts Close, Enderby sold for £90,000
8. Terrace house in The Poppins, Leicester sold for £91,000
9. Flat in Labrador Close, Leicester sold for £92,500

1. Detached house in Main Street, Newtown Linford sold for £1,100,000
2. Detached house in Leicester Road, New Packington sold for £970,000
3. Detached house in Smeeton Road, Kibworth Beauchamp sold for £850,000
4. Detached house in Main Street, Newtown Linford sold for £815,000
5. Detached house in Brook Lane, Billesdon sold for £760,000
6. Detached house in Moor Lane, Coleorton sold for £685,000
