A car has crashed into the front of a house in Leicester, causing a gas leak.
Residents were evacuated from their homes this afternoon following the incident on the corner of Humberstone Lane and Onyx Crescent.
Two cars were involved in the crash and one left the road ending up going through the railings into a house.
The crash into the home has caused a gas leak.
No one was trapped in the home, but the fire service evacuated a number of properties due to a fractured gas main.
