And we decided to have a look through the keyholes of the five most expensive homes on the marketplace at the moment.

We've left out any house that we couldn't look inside or any pieces of land on the list.

So here is a sneak peek inside the five most expensive homes in Leicestershire on the market today:

The Grange, Skeffington

This magnificent house has just hit the market this month - and it's an amazing find.

It features five bedrooms, a huge pool and cinema room and gorgeous views.

It's currently on the market for £2.7m and is being sold by estate agents King West.

Launde Lodge Farm, Launde

This stunning farm home has been on the market since January this year and has 18 acres worth of land to boast.

It has seven bedrooms, an indoor swimming pool, five garages and some of the best views in the county.

It's matching the Grange's price and is on the market for £2.7m.

White Lodge, Buddon Lane, Quorn

This house has been on the market for quite a while now and was reduced in January this year.

This six-bedroomed home is a delight to look at inside and has plenty of room for you and your family.

It has a triple garage, a stunning Lewis & Hill fitted kitchen and a sizable games room.

It is currently on the market for £2.5m and resides in one of Leicestershire's most expensive streets.

Cranhill House, Harborough Road, Billesdon

Coming in at number four is Cranhill House which has been on the market for over a year now on Rightmove.

The estate agent, King West, has called it a "fine period property" and perfect for any large family to move into.

It is currently on the market for an eye-watering £2.2m.

Wayside Farm, Kilby

Coming in last but not least is Wayside Farm located in Kilby which is on the market for £2.2m.

The property was put on the market last year and features five bedrooms.

The paddocks and grounds also extend to 46 acres and features nine stables - perfect for all you equestrian lovers.
