A fire has broken out on the M1 this morning.
One lane is closed due to a vehicle fire on the northbound side.
It's located between Junction 20 for the A4304 Lutterworth Road (Lutterworth) to Junction 21 at the M69 (Leicester).
Lane one (of three) is closed, and traffic is coping with the closure currently.

'Mechanical fault' to blame for fire
A ‘mechanical fault’ was to blame for this morning’s fire, which involved a Mini. The fire service said that the car was destroyed in the blaze, which resulted in one lane of the northbound carriageway being shut to traffic for almost an hour.
The motorway is now clear
The M1 northbound is now clear following the earlier vehicle fire near junction 20 for Lutterworth. Lane one of three was reopened at about 11.30am
No-one injured in the incident
No-one was injured in the incident, according to the fire service spokeswoman
Alarm was raised by concerned drivers
A fire service spokeswoman said it received several reports from motorists at about 10.40am of a car on fire on the northbound carriageway, north of Lutterworth

Firefighters on the scene
Crews from Lutterworth and Leicester’s Southern fire stations are on the scene, as are officials from Highways England.
