Police have released an image of a suspect wanted in connection with a burglary at business in Leicester city centre.

Officers said premises in Upper Brown Street, by the Sue Townsend Theatre, off Newarke Street, were targeted on Monday June 3, but details have only now been released.

Leicesershire Police are appealing for help from the public to identify the man pictured in the footage and urge anyone who recognises him to get in touch.

A spokesman for the force said: "Can you help us identify this man?

"We’re investigating a burglary at a business premises in Upper Brown Street, Leicester, on Monday June 3.

"Someone broke into the premises and stole a television and a MacBook computer."

He added: "If you recognise the man in the image or have any suspicions about who he may be please get in touch."

Anyone with information is asked to private message the force using Facebook or call the 101 police number.
