It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go in Leicestershire.

Festive switch-ons have already been held in a few places, including in Leicester city centre itself this week, and plenty more are planned .

Hinckley, Oadby and Market Harborough are already on.

Both Coalville and Wigston events are taking place tonight, Loughborough is gearing up for the switching-on of the town’s Christmas lights on Sunday, November 25, while Melton is flicking it switch on Friday, November 30, ahead of a Victorian-themed Christmas weekend of events.

Lutterworth will be lit up on Friday, November 30, and South Wigston and Ashby will be turned on on Saturday, December 1.

Countless other switch-ons are planned in other towns and villages too - and of course the centrepiece of these are the trees.

So how do these displays stack up? We've put together a poll for you to vote up and down your favourite Christmas trees.

What do you think of the tree where you live? Let us know in the comments!
