Motorcyclist hurt in crash - he ended up in a ditch

A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Police said the collision involved one motorbike and that there are no live-threatening or life-changing injuries.

The ambulance service is at the scene tending to the casualty, who ended up in a ditch at the side of the A6 just outside Kibworth.

Since there are no serious injuries, the road will not have to be closed for a long time for a police examination of the scene.

The queue of traffic heading north from Market Harborough is about a mile long but the incident is expected to be cleared from the carriageway shortly.
