Points-per-game is currently one of the most used phrases in football as the leagues try to figure out how to end their seasons.

While the Premier League looks set to return to action, the Championship remains up in the air while League One looks likely to come to a premature halt.

League Two clubs have already decided to call time on the campaign.

That means final standings will likely be settled on PPG.

But it’s not just this season that the system could be put to use.

TalkSPORT have taken a look at every Premier League club and worked out what their PPG ratio is to produce the ultimate league table.

Given their 13 Premier League titles, it will come as no surprise to anyone to see Manchester United sitting top of the pile.

Arsenal, who provided United’s main rivals for silverware for many years under Arsene Wenger and won three titles of their own, sit second and Chelsea third.

Liverpool are fourth, Manchester City fifth and Tottenham Hotspur sixth.

Leicester City are 12th.
