Leicester City fans have been reacting to Wes Morgan's new deal.

The captain has put pen-to-paper on a one-year-deal at the King Power Stadium, two days after netting a last-minute winner against Burnley in a 2-1 win at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Saturday.

Morgan, a top-flight winner with the Foxes , was out of contract at the summer with his future uncertain under former manager Claude Puel.

But new boss Brendan Rodgers has thrown his weight behind the Jamaican international since his arrival last month, suggesting a new deal was in the offing for Morgan.

And that has now rung true, with the defender staying for at least another year at the King Power.

Here's the pick of the reaction from the Blue Army this evening...

Nathan: "Legend. Say no more."

Emma Chetwynd: "Brilliant news! Westley Morgan is a blue."

Harry Quinn: "Wes Morgan - greatest Leicester defender and captain."

Jonathan: "So pleased for Wes Morgan. The man is an LCFC legend who has been treated unfairly by a large section of the fan base in the last two years. Great win."

Chris Ball: "Wes Morgan - absolute legend of a man. Easily Leicester's best-ever captain."

Dion Malkin: "Anybody who has ever slated Wes Morgan should hang their head in shame. Yes he's knocking on a bit, but what a leader. Remember who lifted that trophy for us."

Ben Clarke: "I tell you what, Wes Morgan has actually scored some huge important goals for us over the years. What a guy."

Ieuan Gardiner: "All hail Wes Morgan."
