Ndidi linked with Chelsea move

Leicester City ace Wilfred Ndidi has been linked with a move that would see him follow in the footsteps of N'Golo Kante once again - but Real Madrid are poised the hijack the big-money move.

That's according to reports in Spain that claim that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen to launch a bid to land Ndidi.

The Nigerian international, who is said to be valued at £40m, has made over 100 appearances for Leicester since arriving from Genk in 2017 with Ranieri then keen to fill the void left by Kante.

Kante himself has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but the reports in Spain claim that the Bernabeu club could be poised to forget their pursuit of the French World Cup winner to instead move for the younger, 23-year-old, Ndidi.

However, recent reports have claimed that Brendan Rodgers is desperate to keep hold of the midfielder who is central to his plans next season.

Mahrez talks Leicester to Man City transfer switch

Riyad Mahrez has revealed what he believes is the main difference between the paying style at Manchester City and that of Leicester City's during his time at the King Power Stadium.

The Algerian was a favourite during his spell in the East Midlands, playing a vital role as Leicester claimed a famous Premier League title in 2016.

In all, Mahrez spent four-and-a-half years at the club, leaving in the summer of 2018 to join Manchester City for £60m after submitting a transfer request earlier in the year.

He has since won another Premier League title, two League Cups and an FA Cup with the Citizens, but he has had to be patient, spending plenty of time on the bench.

In a recent interview, he spoke about getting used to Pep Guardiola's training, and he also pointed out why he had to adapt from the style he was used to with the Foxes.
