Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu is said to be on the radar of Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Turkish news outlet Ajansspor report that the Foxes defender is the latest name on Galatasaray's agenda for this summer as they look to improve their back-line.

Soyuncu has failed to nail down a starting spot at City since his arrival from Freiburg last summer.

The 23-year-old made just eight appearances for the Foxes this season with only six of those coming in the Premier League.

That's despite arriving on a deal believed to worth £19 million.

It may not be any easier for the defender to earn a place next season, either.

City are keen to keep Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans as a partnership with Filip Benkovic returning from his loan at Celtic.

Wes Morgan penned a new deal last season to ensure further depth, meaning that while Soyuncu has the chance to put his foot in the door this summer with a good pre-season, the Turkey international may be fearful of a repeat of last season and more restricted playing time.

A sale would be unlikely, though manager Brendan Rodgers may choose to make the 23-year-old available for a loan after assessing his centre-backs options this July.

Soyuncu has also been linked with Galatasaray's Istanbul rivals Besiktas and Fenerbahce.
