Reported Leicester City transfer target Philippe Coutinho has been offered to Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal, according to reports.

However, ESPN say the cost of any deal is prohibiting a move from being agreed.

City, Chelsea Newcastle United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and United have all been linked with a move for the Brazilian this summer.

Agent Kia Joobrachian is trying to drum up interest with his client set to head back to Barcelona from loan side Bayern Munich when the 2019-20 season eventually ends.

He has spent the current campaign at the Allianz Arena, scoring eight goals and registering six assists in 22 Bundesliga matches.

However he won't be joining Bayern and his future doesn't seem to lie at Barca.

According to reports, Barcelona want a loan fee of £10m and the club who take Coutinho on to cover all of his £250,000 per week wages.

Coutinho was signed by Rodgers for Liverpool in January 2012 for a bargain £8.5m from Inter Milan.
