'It was all a bit dramatic'

Lincolnshire Live reporter Daniel Morrow happened to be near the Travelodge when the incident took place.

He saw police putting someone in the back of a police van.

He said:

I saw two police cars, one police van and an ambulance. They had their sirens on. Someone had walked by and said they’d seen them racing down Lincoln City Centre.

It was all a bit dramatic. I walked over to see what was happening and they were outside speaking to one gentleman. They put him in the van after around two or three minutes of conversation.
