Families with these 58 Lincolnshire surnames could inherit a fortune

People living in Lincolnshire who have one of the following surnames cold be in for a lucky surprise.

According to the government there are 58 unclaimed estates with links to Lincolnshire that could be worth a lot of money to someone with the right family history.

If you spot your surname on the list below, it could be worth checking to see if any of these people's estates is owed to you.

If someone dies before they have had the chance to make a will, everything they have - including money, cars, property and even businesses - is left behind, reports Coventry Live.

We've gone through the list of people who have passed away in Lincolnshire to find those who have not yet had their estates claimed.

There is a 30-year time limit on claiming an estate and you need to be related to the deceased in order to do so. If you think you are related, you'll need to send a family tree that shows how you are related to the person whose estate you would like to claim.  

Any individual can check the Central Probate Registry to see if any next of kin are on the unclaimed list.
