A brand new indoor inflatable theme park is set to open to the public near Lincolnshire.

Inflata Nation, which has theme parks across the UK, is set to open a gargantuan site that has 14,000 square feet of inflatable fun.

Visitors can mess about in gigantic ball pools, climb walls, take on obstacle courses and take on the 'Inflata Bubbles' section, which allows people to jump as high as they possibly can.

The venue can be booked for private parties and will run sessions specially for children and people with disabilities so they can join in with the fun as well.

The theme park, at Peterborough One Retail Park, in Peterborough, had been due to open in November last year, but it was delayed.

However the company has now confirmed it intends to open its doors for the first time on Saturday, January 18, Cambridgeshire Live reports.

Co-founder Matt Ball said: “After months of working to perfect the site we are finally ready to open our doors to the people of Cambridgeshire – and we can’t wait

“Inflata Nation Peterborough was due to open at the end of last year but delays meant we had to wait until after Christmas to add our extra special finishing touches.

“Our venue at PE1 will be our eighth in the UK and there are plenty of amazing challenges, fun activities and giggle-inducing games for all ages to enjoy.

“And from previous experience we know that everyone who enters the arena will come off with huge smiles on their faces.

“It’s not just for youngsters either – big kids will have a ball and also work up a sweat as they dive into the ball pool, challenge their friends over the assault course and plunge down the thrilling drop slides.

“We are very fortunate to have been able to grow our business so much as families across the country continue to choose Inflata Nation to have a fantastic day out with.”

Thirty jobs have been created ahead of the opening of site.

Opening times are to be confirmed but play is likely to be from noon to 9pm weekdays, with the last session starting at 8pm, and from 9am to 9pm on weekends.

During school holidays the centre is expected to open at 10am on weekdays.

Prices start at £5.99 for under-4s to bounce for an hour, while everyone else pays £9.99 for an hour.

Paul Dunn, asset manager for Peterborough One Retail Park said: “We are delighted to have this unique leisure offer here at Peterborough One.

£The feedback we have received from other tenants and local people has been nothing short of fantastic. This is an integral part of our plan to maintain vibrancy here on this well-loved retail park ”
