Police say they are "very concerned" about a missing woman who was last seen three days ago.

Julie Walsh, 43, from Washingborough, was last seen at her home at 5.45pm on Thursday, January 16.

The force deployed a helicopter to assist with the search, which is still ongoing, in the early hours of Friday morning.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "We are appealing for any sightings of her in or around that area that day. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have any dashcam or CCTV footage that was recording in and around Washingborough between 5.30pm and 6.15pm on Thursday.

"We are very concerned for Julie’s welfare and are seeking any information or sightings that could help find her.

"As part of this we would be grateful if you could check any outbuildings or outside space that belong to you or that are in the local area."

She is described as five feet and six inches tall and of medium build.

She was last seen wearing a wearing a khaki coloured jacket, cream arran jumper, black legging-style trousers, and black canvas trainers.

She is not thought to be wearing glasses - although she is wearing glasses in the attached photograph.
