The body of a man has been recovered off the coast of Lincolnshire by authorities.

Volunteers from RNLI rushed to the aid of a man off Tower Esplanade in Skegness at around 2.15pm on Tuesday, March 21.

It came after the lifeboat crews based on the Lincolnshire coastline received reports of a person in the water.

The crew were able to recover the man as well as a small fishing boat, and were able to provide emergency care for the man recovered.

Lincolnshire Police were called to the scene shortly afterwards, but the man was pronounced dead by officers.

The force say that there are no suspicious circumstances around the man’s death.
