Fire teams are battling a big blaze at a fuel site in Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have descended on G4X Fuel at Brookenby, Binbrook on the evening of Sunday, March 24.

Police have also been called in to help manage the incident.

Officials say they have blocked access to the site due to the size of the fire and are warning people to keep windows and doors shut.

Firefighters from the surrounding area have been drafted in to try and contain the blaze.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue tweeted: "@BinbrookFire, @Caistor_Fire, @LouthFire, @marketrasenfire, @HumbersideFire in attendance at a commercial building fire on East Road, Binbrook.

"Building well alight, 2 breathing apparatus, 2 main jets, 2 @ColdCutSystems is use at present."

A spokesperson for force tweeted: "Police are assisting with a fire at G4X Fuel, BROOKENBY , BINBROOK.

"The site has been cleared but due to the size of the fire we have blocked access. Please keep all windows and doors shut in the surrounding area."
