CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Flooding has been reported in portions of Berkeley and Charleston counties Wednesday afternoon.

A flood advisory for Colleton County remains in effect until 4:30 p.m. A flood advisory for the Tri-County expired at 3 p.m.

Motorists in North Charleston reported flooded streets in the area of Northwoods Mall. A viewer captured a car stuck in the water on Northwoods Boulevard.

According to the viewer, the driver of the car is safe and sound in their van.

Video also showed traffic was moving slowly due to flooding at Rivers Avenue and Otranto.

In Goose Creek, a viewer captured video of flooding at the intersection of Kenilworth Road and Henry E. Brown Boulevard.

Locations expected to experience flooding included North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, I-26/I-526 Interchange, Ladson, West Ashley, Crowfield Plantation, Charleston Airport, College Park, Magnolia,Gardens, Huger, Lincolnville, Bushy Park, Cote Bas Landing, Ararat, Poppenheim Crossing, Cypress Gardens and Red Bank Landing.
