Liverpool FC's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain makes BOLD fashion statement as he joins Perrie Edwards at Brit Awards 2019

Liverpool's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain joined girlfriend Perrie Edwards on the red carpet tonight for the Brit Awards.

Perrie and Little Mix bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson have been nominated for two gongs this year- British Video and British Group.

The blonde beauty put on a smouldering display wearing a strapless midnight blue dress featuring a thigh split.

She paired the dark dress with a dramatic smoky eye and finished her look off by scraping back her hair long hair.

However, it was boyfriend and LFC fan favourite  Oxlade-Chamberlain who stole the show with his bold outfit.

The 25-year-old has been out of action for the last ten months after picking up a season-ending injury in last year's Champions League semi-final against Roma.

But he's recently returned to training and is soon expected to make an appearance back on the pitch.

However, football was pushed aside tonight as he flexed his unique fashion style.

Wearing an all-black outfit bar some white trainers, Oxlade-Chamberlain chose a casual yet impactful choice wearing a oversized batwing jacket with leather paneling. 

He chose to accessorize  with a pair of see-through reading glasses.
