Everton will return to Premier League action hoping to return to winning ways after a long 17-day break.

The Blues have been on a poor run of form of late and suffered three defeats in a row after being knocked out of the FA Cup heading into this match-up with Cardiff City.

Manager Marco Silva revealed that his players would get a rest period as they would be given some time off before returning to be put through their paces ahead of the clash with the Bluebirds.

Here's all you need to know ahead of the showdown.

Everton and Cardiff City play on Tuesday, February 26.

The game will kick off at 7.45pm.

Where is the game being played?

The game is being played at the Cardiff City stadium where the Blues have only played once in the League Cup since 1979.

Is the game on TV?

Unfortunately, for those without a match-day ticket, the game is not being broadcast on TV in the UK.

Don't worry though, you'll be able to follow all of the action live as it happens on the Liverpool Echo's live blog as Phil Kirkbride and Adam Jones make their way to Wales for the contest.

Any team news

The Blues are without veteran left-back Leighton Baines but first-choice Lucas Digne is available while Phil Jagielka remains sidelined.

Everyone else is reportedly fit and available so this will be a good chance for Silva to select his strongest XI and a good chance for the players to then go out and prove what they can do.
