Kamil Grabara has stated he doesn't see much of a technical difference between himself and first-team star Alisson Becker at Liverpool.
The 19-year-old Polish goalkeeper works alongside Caoimhin Kelleher as understudies to Alisson and Simon Mignolet at the Reds, with the two reserves sharing duty for Neil Critchley's Under-23 side.
The teenage shot-stopper was on the bench for Jurgen Klopp's side as they lost 2-1 to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup in September with Mignolet making his only appearance this term against the Londoners.
Grabara believes he is beginning to make his mark at Anfield and the youngster stated that he already sees himself on a similar level to Alisson, despite his more experienced team-mate temporarily becoming the most expensive keeper in football history back in July.
Alisson joined from Roma for a club-record fee for a goalkeeper of £65million, but first-team experience is the only key difference between the pair at present, according to Grabara.
In an interview with Katowicki Sportem in his homeland, Grabara said: "If I say what I want to say, they will point out to me that I mistook the floor with the ceiling.
"But I will say, I really do not see any great difference [with Alisson]. This level is often determined by details, and experience is one of the most important.
"I will not bet with anyone about where I will be for this or that time. All that is left is hard work and waiting for its effects, on the development of events."
It's been a fairly serene start to life as the most expensive Liverpool goalkeeper of all time for Brazil international Alisson.
The former Roma keeper has played an integral part in helping Klopp's Reds take 30 points from a possible 36 on offer to help them up to second in the Premier League.
Alisson was culpable for a goal away to Leicester back in September when he was dispossessed inside his own area, but the Selecao shot-stopper has largely been a dependable and assured operator between the sticks since signing.
