Earlier this month, we reported on how Liverpool FC's current home kit has gone down as the highest-selling in the Reds' history .

The kit sold out quickly and the club has now confirmed it is opening pre-orders for the kit once again as it waits for more stock.

As a result of the demand, many of the club's home kit items were out of stock forcing the official website to release a statement to it's supporters.

It read: "The 18/19 kits have been the most successful in our history."

"In order to meet this demand, we have placed a further reorder of home shirts and we're working hard to ensure supporters are able to purchase as soon as possible."

"Supporters will be notified as soon as the kit is available to pre-order in mid-February."

As promised, the wait for supporters is now officially over.

From today, the club have implemented a pre-order system with product dispatches expected on May 3.

The official Mens Home Shirt is priced at £55, with the Junior Home Shirt priced ten pound cheaper at £45.

If you wish to get involved, you can find all items in the Home Kit range on the LFC store.

Liverpool's partnership with sponsors New Balance expires at the end of the 2019/2020 season but it remains to be seen whether they will extend current terms beyond then.

The arrangement is said to net the club around £45m per season - but this roughly £30m less than the deal rivals Manchester United are believed to earn from Adidas.
