North Salem girls lacrosse's Grace Curran is the Con Edison Athlete of the Week

Athletics: Curran scored five goals for the Tigers in the team's opening round playoff win against Dobbs Ferry Tuesday in the Section 1 Class D playoffs. On May 6, she had four goals and two assists in the win over Rye Neck. Curran's the all-time leading scorer in the history of North Salem girls lacrosse. She's a four-year varsity starter on the lacrosse team. The captain of the lacrosse's garnered All League honors (three) and All Section (three). Curran's a three-sport athlete. She's a three-year starter on the girls soccer team. The captain of the soccer team got all-league and all-section honors. She was named player of the year in Conference III, League E. Curran's been on the basketball team all four years of high school. She's gotten all league honors four-times. Curran's been the team MVP for three years. Curran's signed a national letter of intent to play lacrosse at Rutgers.

Extra curriculars: Curran's a member of the National Honor Society and English Honor Society. ... She's a member of the Amnesty International Club.
