Easyjet passengers have been told to arrive at least three hours early for flights at Manchester Airport this weekend because of 'issues' with baggage handling.

The airport has advised passengers to take precautions due to the issues with easyJet’s handling agent, Menzies.

Some customers may be delayed at check in for outbound flights, airport bosses say.

While disembarking aircraft for inbound flights and baggage reclaim could also be delayed.

Airport bosses say they are monitoring the situation and providing support to easyJet.
