WAG supremo Coleen Rooney hit the shops after arriving back in Cheshire from Washington.

The wife of former Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney was spotted in sports luxe gear as she left The Style Lounge in Alderley Edge carrying a large festive shopping bag.

It appears the mother-of-four was keen to get some Christmas shopping done after returning to the UK from living Stateside.

Carrying her red elf patterned bag, the doting mum wore a pastel pink workout top with black leggings and blue Nike trainers.

Her record goal scorer hubby will captain England and wear the number 10 shirt when he comes on to make his farewell appearance tonight at Wembley.

Wayne, 33, retired from international football last year but will win his 120th and final cap in a friendly against the United States. Rooney will also get a guard of honour.

The former Manchester United and Everton forward, who left Everton to join DC United in June, initially ended his international career with 119 caps and a record 53 goals.

The Rooneys appear to be settling in well to life in the US, with Coleen giving fans a glimpse inside their new family home in a string of Instagram posts.

The doting mum has shared photos of herself, Wayne and their sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass following their move to Washington.

She posted a picture of the three eldest sons in their new school uniforms with the words "first day at school for my boys in America" and three love hearts.

Another photo showed the family cuddled up on the sofa together with the words: "Everything #family."

While they are in Washington for the long haul, with a potential three and a half year stay in the United States, work is currently underway on building the Rooneys' new £20million mansion set in the Cheshire countryside.
