He shot to fame in the 90s with the Irish boyband Boyzone, and it's time for Ronan Keating's daughter's Missy to take centre stage tomorrow night on The Voice.

Seventeen-year-old Missy will pick up the microphone as a duo with her pal Gerogia Gaffney, known as GGMK.

The coaches, who sit with their backs facing the acts and are unaware of their identities, won't have had a clue that Missy was Ronan's daughter when she auditioned for the ITV1 singing show at MediaCityUK at Salford Quays.

They sing CeeLo Green's Forget You and multi-talented Missy plays the guitar while waiting in suspense to find out if the coaches Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Olly Murs and Jennifer Hudson turn their chairs for them.

Speaking about Missy's performance on the ITV1 chat show Lorraine, host Lorraine Kelly suggested Missy could go solo like her proud dad.

Doting dad Ronan is supportive of his daughter's music

Ronan's career began in 1994 with Boyzone who had a string of hits including Picture Of You, A Different Beat and No Matter What.

And his solo career started in 1999 followed by 10 albums and the worldwide hit When You Say Nothing At All from the film Notting Hill starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.

When GGMK penned their first original song in 2017 Ronan shared their performance on his Instagram and told his followers: "Well I can't tell ya all how proud I am of My @missyykeating and @georgiagaffney and their first original Song. Check it out peeps."

Missy is Ronan's daughter with his ex wife Yvonne Connolly.

He has three children with Yvonne and a son Cooper with producer Storm Uechtritz who he married in 2015 after they met on the Australian X Factor during Ronan's time as a judge.
