This Morning viewers have demanded the NHS "send a bill" to a woman who faked depression to get a free nose job.

Former glamour model Carla Bellucci appeared on the ITV show bragging about her "free cosmetic procedure" worth around £7,000.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were visibly taken aback by her boastful claims, which included how she flirted with her GP who then "coached her" into knowing what to say to get the procedure for nothing.

She said: “Before I knew it I had an appointment within four weeks to go and see a surgeon. It got granted there and then.

“They had a little look, they said do you have breathing issues, I said yes, after what I was advised to say.

"I find it hard to breath at night, I get the odd nose bleed. Within 30 seconds of saying it he said ‘we can do the operation’.”

Holly hit back and said just because there were cracks in the system doesn’t mean that people should abuse it - especially when there are parents desperate for life changing drugs for their children that are currently not available.

Carla said: “That did cross my mind but if I was given that choice, this person needs this treatment, do you still want your nose job, I would have said no.

“Because it got as far as it did, I almost believed that they were doing it so maybe there was something wrong, because they wouldn’t do it if not.”

Phil then accused her of "believing her own lie" after admitting to not really having any mental health issues or difficulties breathing.

Mum-of-three Carla said she would "take the backlash" over her claims, and said "maybe the cracks in the system need to be revealed".

“I’m not saying what I did was right, but I don’t believe in regrets,” she said.

A spokesman for the Royal Free London told the show that Carla’s claims are "categorically untrue" and said the surgery was done at Chase Farm Hospital following an injury to her nose.

But Carla was having none of it and said it wasn’t an injury, but “obviously they [the NHS] need to cover themselves.”

Twitter lit up with viewers demanding that she pay back the money.

One said: “Lied about depression? Flirted with GP? Strike him off and send her a bill... Job done.”

A second simply said: “She should be done for fraud.”

Another posted: “Why is she getting air time? The NHS is in crisis and does not need people faking illness and taking advantage of them.”

A fourth raged: “This idiot on this morning who lied about having depression to get a nose job on the NHS and her defence was ‘I was born here and I work’?????

“Hundreds of people die due to depression omg I’m FUMING. Wwhy do they give these people air time.”
