Manchester United will face La Liga side Sevilla in the Europa League semi-finals.
United have travelled to Germany for the condensed conclusion of the tournament and were eventually victorious in Monday's quarter-final encounter with FC Copenhagen, although it took extra-time and a Bruno Fernandes penalty for the win to be secured.
Sevilla took on Wolves in the other quarter-final on United's side of the draw in the MSV Arena in Duisburg on Tuesday evening with the Spanish going through with a hard-fought 1-0 win.
Wolves squandered a golden opportunity to take the lead in the first-half when Raul Jimenez saw his poor penalty saved after magnificent work from Adama Traore to win the spot kick.
The tie looked set for extra time, but an 88th-minute header from Lucas Ocampos gave the five-time winners of the competition a deserved victory.
United will remain in Cologne's Rhein Energie Stadion for the semi-final and the match will be played on Sunday, August 16.
The winner will go on to compete in the final on Friday 21, also in Cologne, and will face either Serie A giants Inter or Shakhtar Donetsk.
