Manchester United have been the most successful club during the Premier League era despite not winning a title since 2013.

And under the tutelage of Sir Alex Ferguson, United signed some of the biggest names in world football.

Even now they currently have one of the best keepers in the world in the form of David de Gea, while past signings Cristiano Ronaldo and Eric Cantona are some of the best forward players the club has ever bought.

The big question is who is not only United’s best foreign player during the Premier League era, but the competition’s number one?

BBC pundits including Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton have been deliberating that question and now fans can add their thoughts before tonight’s 7pm deadline.

There are 13 names on the list and six of them are either current or former United players.

De Gea is joined by the legendary Peter Schmeichel among the keeper candidates, with ex-Chelsea and now Arsenal star Peter Cech also in the mix.

Nemanja Vidic and Jaap Stam are the two defenders named who dominated at the back during their days at Old Trafford, while Ronaldo and Cantona are on the shortlist when it comes to the forwards.

Vidic and Stam’s competition comes from Man City star Vincent Kompany, with Arsenal and Chelsea legends Thierry Henry and Didier Drogba respectively the other forwards in the running.

The midfield options include the likes of Man City’s David Silva and another Arsenal legend in Patrick Vieira.

Fans still have chance to vote for their favourite Premier League import before Friday's 7pm deadline.
