Toy Story themed swim sessions have launched at leisure centres across Greater Manchester.

Featuring Woody floats and other Toy Story toys, activities are based around the hit film's popular characters including Buzz, Slinky and Bo.

Aimed at children aged three to 11, they cost £4 each for a parent and child, with additional children just £1.

There's music and singing and little ones are encouraged to blow bubbles like Buzz, jump in Woody style and join in other activities to help build their confidence in the water.

The hour-long swim and play sessions are lead by a Disney 'swim activator', who gets the kids and adults to participate in 10 Toy Story-inspired swim activities.

Salford's leisure centres, operated by Salford Community Leisure, are among the venues to host the Swim England sessions between now and October. There are loads of others at pools across the region and you can submit your postcode here to find your nearest one.
