One of the biggest weekends in Manchester's cultural calendar is upon us, as the annual Manchester Pride hits the city and the streets are filled with rainbow flags.

A large portion of the annual LGBT+ celebration has been moved to Mayfield Depot for the first time this year, a sprawling abandoned railway station near Manchester Piccadilly.

Over the course of Saturday and Sunday, the likes of Ariana Grande, Years & Years and Emeli Sande will perform on the main open air arena, with an indoor stage hosting world-class DJs such as Basement Jaxx and Faithless.

The 18+ only event has sold out on Sunday (when Ariana will headline) but limited tickets are still available for Saturday.

Manchester turns rainbow coloured ahead of Pride

Three stages have been built on the new site, which will also host the Warehouse Project later in the year.

The Yard will be the main stage, an open air arena with a catwalk that juts into the audience.

Inside, The Depot will host the electronic music and late-night acts who will perform into the early hours.

Then the smallest of the three, the Gaydio Stage, will have a big screen showing the headliners' performances, and interactive events such as Bongo's Bingo.

Here's your full list of stage times for Manchester Pride Live 2019 for Saturday August 24.

Doors open at 12 at Mayfield itself but the larger stages open at 2pm.
