June scratch ticket winnings in Massachusetts eclipse $25 million with six more winners

Through three weeks of June, the Massachusetts Lottery has already announced $27 million in prizes.

Thirteen winners have won prizes of at least $1 million this month, including a Newton resident scratching a $15 million winner earlier this month.

Recently, the Massachusetts Lottery announced six $1 million prize winners, including five within the last 10 days. Two winners purchased their tickets in South Weymouth and claimed $1 million prizes within three days of each other. The tickets were sold at different stores.

James Ogletree of Wayland’s wish came true when he went to the counter and asked the cashier to give him a $1 million winner.

He was handed a $30 “200x” ticket and scratched off a $1 million prize. Ogletree chose the cash option received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. He purchased his winning ticket an Natick. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

One $15 million prize and 26 additional $1 million prizes are still available with scratch ticket.

Gabriel Raposo, of Fall River, won a $1 million prize playing the “Diamond Millions” instant ticket game.

He purchased the $30 ticket in Fall River. Raposo told the Massachusetts Lottery he plans on using some of his winnings to buy a car and go on vacation.

There are 74 additional $1 million instant prizes remaining for that ticket.

In Wellesley, the LN Nominee Trust claimed a $1 million prize in the “Road to Riches” instant game.

The trust, represented by trustee Dale Keiser, chose to claim its prize in a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. The winning ticket was purchased in East Boston. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.

There are three additional $1 million prizes available in the $5 “Road to Riches” instant game.

Angela Bombino of Tewksbury won $1 million playing the “Diamond Millions” instant ticket game.

She purchased the $30 ticket in Medford. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

Joseph Watson also scratched off a $1 million prize playing "Diamond Millions. He plans on using a portion of his winnings to buy a car, the Lottery said.

He purchased his winning ticket in South Weymouth. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

There are 75 additional $1 million instant prizes in the “Diamond Millions” $30 instant game.

Finally, David Differ of Braintree won a $1 million prize through the “$10,000,000 Big Money” instant game. He also purchased his winning ticket in South Weymouth, marking two in three days.

Differ chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. He plans on using his winnings to purchase a home and take a vacation, the Lottery said.
