Showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely across Massachusetts Friday.
Scattered showers are possible on and off Friday morning and afternoon with potentially heavier showers in the afternoon. While most communities in the state “has a chance to see rain,” the National Weather Service said, “the best chance for heavy showers is over southeast MA.”
Under a tenth of an inch of precipitation is expected for most of the state while communities on Cape Cod and the islands may see more than a half-inch of rain.
Friday will also offer a warm-up for Massachusetts residents, with highs in the 40s and 50s.
