Rain expected to clear out as warm weather arrives in Massachusetts for summer’s first official weekend

Massachusetts will enjoy some warm weather during the first weekend of summer, according to the National Weather Service.

Though showers will linger across the state for most of the morning and afternoon, skies are expected to clear up from west to east Friday, meteorologists from the National Weather Service said.

Some cold air remaining Saturday may cause an isolated thunder storm in eastern Massachusetts, but the sun is coming. Highs are expected to be between 75 and 80 on Saturday.

On Sunday dry warm weather will come in with temperatures in the 80s, according to the National Weather Service.
