The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for multiple counties in Massachusetts Monday.
The combination of hot temperatures and high humidities will make it feel like the mid-to-high 90s.
The heat advisory was issued for the following counties: Bristol, Hampden, Middlesex, Norfolk and Plymouth. It will go into effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
“The heat and humidity may cause heat stress during outdoor exertion or extended exposure," the National Weather Service said in the advisory. "Heat illness is also possible for those in non air-conditioned locations. Prolonged heat is most dangerous for young children and the elderly. Car temperatures can reach lethal temperatures in minutes.”
