The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for across Massachusetts Wednesday.
Following storms in the morning, a wave of strong to severe storms are expected Wednesday between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. then weaken through the remainder of the night. All of Massachusetts is at risk for the storm, though Central and Western Massachusetts are more likely to see the worst of it.
Damaging winds, large hail and rainfall are the primary threat, though the chance of a tornado cannot be ruled out, the National Weather Service said. Torrential downpours may produce localized flash flooding.
It will remain in effect until 9 p.m. Wednesday.
